San Clemente, CA (September 21, 2017) - Pro-Tec, the original action sports protective gear brand founded in 1973, welcomes young phenom, and X-Games Park Gold medalist, Brighton Zeuner to the team.
Since her introduction to the skate world about three years ago, Zeuner has been a rising star and one to keep an eye on as she skated the vert ramps of Southern California. Continuing to impress fans and judges as she moved to the parks and bowls, the 13-year old Encinitas, CA resident quickly started moving up the ranks and placings, and is now taking the podiums at today’s most recognizable and notable events.
The addition to Pro-Tec comes as she embarks to compete at the Vans Park Series World Championships later this week in Shanghai, China, where she will defend her title as the Women’s World Champion.
On making the switch to Pro-Tec, Zeuner said, “If you're going to wear a helmet then ride the original and skate with an amazing crew. Skaters like The Gonz, Lizzie Armanto, Jimmy Wilkins and the rest of the team get me psyched.”
“I’ve been a fan of Brighton’s since first meeting her through fellow riders, Lizzie Armanto and Allysha Le. It’s been amazing watching her style and power grow over the last few years. She’s got a bright future ahead and I look forward to seeing it unfold.” - R.P. Bess Protec Global Brand Director
Brighton joins a star-studded team of Steve Caballero, Christian Hosoi, Mark Gonzales, Bucky Lasek, Jason Jessee, Rune Glifberg, Jimmy Wilkins, Sam Beckett, Lizzie Armanto, Moto Shibata, Alex Perelson, Jordyn Barratt, Josh Borden, Allysha Le and more.
