Time-Honored Traditions and Luxury Goods for Every Day, Chez M’Lain’s Bed Linens, Home Décor,
Fashions, and Bespoke Decorative Accents Are Now Available Directly to Customers
Hanoi, Vietnam — Focused on creating tomorrow’s heirlooms, timeless design and handcrafted products, Chez M’Lain, an international luxury lifestyle and home goods brand, has just launched its first online store at www.chezmlain.com.
Offering luxury linens for bed and home, cashmere wovens, and decorative home products with hand embellished accents, the Chez M’Lain collection uses the world’s highest-quality materials, including Italian linen, silk satin, and directly sourced Mongolian cashmere. The line includes sheets, shams, pillow cases, duvets, throw pillows, table clothes, napkins, hand towels, blankets, quilts, and throws, wraps, sweaters, bow ties, shirts and more.
Previously available only in discerning boutiques and through interior designers, Chez M’Lain was inspired to create an online store to also offer customers the opportunity to purchase the line directly and create unique heirlooms with custom options and bespoke touches, such as fine embroidery and custom monograms, that can be treasured today and passed on to future generations.
In a world of instant gratification and fast fashion Chez M’Lain is taking a step back. “There is a time and place for the slow and luxurious that makes the difference between the quick and disposable,” says Amelia Fendell, co-owner of Chez M’Lain. “With many of the time-honored traditions being lost to time and technology, Chez M’Lain is looking to foster and preserve these skills. We are proud to follow a philosophy where the best things in life take time and are rewarded by high standards and a long life.”
With a team of over 250 master artisans based in Hanoi, Vietnam, the company is focused on technique and handwork. It can take two women three months to hand embroider a set of bed linens and Chez M’Lain’s hand-spun Davos cashmere throws and blankets require the work of traditional weavers, as well as the skills of women to hand spin yarn and prepare the materials even before the weaving begins. When ordered, the cashmere and blankets ship within the week, while the bedding and table linens are often made to order and often takes two to five weeks depending on the style.
Another way the brand sets itself apart is by offering custom, unique pieces for moments worth preserving that are only limited by customers’ imaginations. Images of their children’s artwork can be embroidered onto a pillow. Weddings, births, and anniversaries can be marked by custom embroidery. Patterns can be taken from sentimental objects and replicated on home accents. No matter what the idea, Chez M’Lain’s founders and artisans can work with each order to create long-lasting pieces meant to be cherished for years to come.
